This is basically a vintage aircraft museum. An interesting one though and they have tried to theme it with various 'sets' showing the history of flight before you go into the main exhibition hall which is packed full of aircraft of all types.
The best things are the flight simulators. They are a bit claustrophobic as you are totally enclosed but turned out to be good fun. There are several of them and you can get into a dog fight with your nearest and dearest. Everyone can do these but just a couple of volunteers per session get to do the helicopter simulator. Our 23 year old son did this and it is not as easy as it looks. A demonstrator took him through his paces on this ( son span out of control) and then showed us all how it ought to be done ( demonstrator did not!)
There are aircraft outside in the grounds also and exhibition flights by staff in the vintage aircraft take off at scheduled times throughout the day. Good gift shop with everything from flight jackets to model aircraft and a cafe as well. A good half days entertainment. Look out for the money off vouchers in the voucher books which are easily found for this attraction. Signposted from 1-4 West ( towards Tampa) or you can head down 27 and keep an eye out for the Fantasy of Flight water tower.
