Which water park from an adults perspective...Aquatica or Wet'n Wild?
Prefer the thrill slides and not too much in the way of ques. Going in October.

I have never been to Aquatica, however Wet n Wild is very good. I enjoy this and always thought it has something for everyone. Why not try both if you have time. They can be a good way of relaxing if you have done a lot of the theme parks.
Aquatica is new so at the moment it is getting a lot of visitors who want to see it for the first time. Having just returned from the U.S. I would say that the queues seem to be less at Wet n Wild because of this.
If you want to compare the two purely on thrill slides then from a personal point of view I would go to Wet n Wild. However if this is what you like then it's a good time of the year to try both. Use the link at the top of the page to get a good deal on the tickets before you leave the UK.

Also going in October and doing both water parks!!
Comments seem to be that wet n wild is still the best but with Aquatica being so new, we felt we couldn't miss out on trying it.
Manchester to Orlando with Virgin on October 26th.....

Agree with other comments, if you are having a problem in choosing.

Loved Aquatica!
Just did aquatica a couple of days ago, it is a great park and highly recommend it. They do limit capacity and the car parks close around 10 - 30am so get there early.

Alternatively, go after 4. We haven't done Wet & Wild, so can't compare the two, however, we bought the 14 day two park ticket for SeaWorld and Aqautica from the link above. Both days we did SeaWorld we then headed to Aquatica at about 4. It was excellent, small queues and plenty of space. One annoyance about Aquatica is that they don't have maps posted around the park, so finding your way around to begin with is confusing, especially as we have only done Disney waterparks before, which are basically circular and encircled by their lazy rivers. Once we got the layout sussed, though, we were fine.
The nice thing about combining these two parks on the same day is that you only pay for parking once, they are only minutes apart. Plus it was nice on these hot and humid days, knowing that you had a nice cool-off to look forward to.
