We're going on Sunday [msnsmile2] and have booked a standard SUV with Dollar through Roger - probably a Jeep Cherokee I think. Can you get a luggage cover for the boot - is it worth asking when we pick it up? It won't be a problem if not as we have an estate car here and hardly ever use the boot cover but I just wondered if one might be available for if we (OK, our daughter) do a lot of shopping [msnembarrased]

It's worth asking on collection of the car. A few models have this built in, on a roller type mechanism. The only thing you always have to be careful of is giving the rental company an opportunity to sell you an upgrade. If you ask for anything specific on collection of the car then they might take the opportunity to tell you this would involve an upgrade to a larger model or such like. In that event, make certain you know exactly what (or how much) you are signing for, as upgrades can not be refunded.

The vehicle we had, a Ford Edge, had very tinted windows at the back and you couldn't see in anyway so yours might have these also.

We once asked about this and were told that due to tinted windows they do no bother with them, we have only ever had one once.
