    Mama Mia

After a busy weekend getting ready for our hols my husband promised to let me choose something to watch at the pictures.
It had to be Mama Mia (you should have seen hubbys face), the film was great and I grinned from ear to ear all the way through, a real cheesy feel good movie.

I thought my husband was about to whisper sweet nothings in my ear but whenever Pierce Brosnan came on the screen he just kept saying "but [u]HE</u> is 007" so leave the hubby's at home and go with the girls.

We went last night and it was brilliant! At the end when the credits came up some people started dancing in front of the screen to hand claps from everyone else - a great feel good film!

If he is a James Bond fan he just won't get his head around a simple thing like Pierce Brosnan is just an actor playing a completly different role.[msnwink]

I wasn't too sure about the film after seeing a clip of some very bad singing. Always thought the musical was good after seeing it in London and I love the songs.

Now I have read your reviews think I will take my daughter along to see it as it does sound good.

Have to say I preferred the stage show version which I saw in Bristol, costumes were better, but the film has a Real Good Feel factor about it.

From a Mans point of view.We all went on Saturday and I have to say.........................It was one of the best films I have seen in a long time.

I thoroughly enjoyed the music and story. Meryl Streep was fantastic, so was Julie Walters. As for Pierce Brosnan. I had heard his singing voice was....... how shall we say "not the best" However it was ok and the music, enthusiasm and funny moments carried the film along.

I challenge you to keep your feet still through the Songs.[msnsmile]

I would definitely recommend it. I will probably go to see it again.[msnsmile2]
