    Windwood Cay

    Hi

Has anyone stayed on or have any info on Windwood Cay. I know it is situated down the 192 near Medieval times. Is it an older community as most of the newer ones seem to be nearer Highway 27.

I've visited someone's home on Windwood Cay a few years ago and it's a very nice community, quite a way out of the way of the 192 so there's no road noise, etc. It's surrounded by conservation and the homes are spacious.

Obviously it's pretty central for Wal-Mart, Medieval Times, etc as well as lots of stores and restuarants on the 192 so I would think it would be a good location for a holiday.

It's actually called Windward Cay not to be confused with Windwood Bay in the Champions Gate are.[msnsmile2]

I've stayed in Windward Cay in the past and it's a great location. Very handy for Wal-Mart and just about everything else. It was just newly built when we stayed there so I couldn't comment on its current state of upkeep, but we really liked it then.

We stayed in Winward cay in 2004.

Its a nice little community, very quiet and well hidden from the 192 but close enough.

Good mix of residents and holidaymakers as well, with the resident family living opposite making us very welcome and always willing to stop and have a chat.

    Hello,
We have stayed at Windward Cay on two occasions and we loved the location. It was quiet, but easy to get to and within reasonable distance from Disney and Sea World. The communities on the 27 are probable slightly closer to Disney, but further away from other attractions. It is also close to "Steak & Shake".
