    Hi Bernie,

Hadn't really thought about an apartment for 2-3 nights. To be honest, it would probably be better for us in a hotel for that time as I am guessing that stays of less than 7 nights might incur extra charges (as with our villa).

Also, daughter has hotel points to use so it would save her money. She spends Mon-Thurs working away through the week and has a lot of points to use.

Thanks for the offer though, I will look into it to see what might be available.

Hope you find a good place to stay, it would be much better than a hotel room for a week's stay.
    Mary

We stayed at the Milford Plaza last time we went very good position really near Times Square. The hotel was just OK I would say but you won't be in it much. Enjoy we love New York!

We stay at the Belvedere just off Times square, have always found that to be a nice hotel, good value and in a nice area, we have booked for a couple of nights in August. I have also heard that the Radio City apartments are very good, has some really good write ups on tripadvisor, but I think you will have to book up well in advance as they seem very popular.

yes radio city are very popular. look out for the scammers trying to rent out apartments that dont exist I have had 3 in the last week but I know new york a little and have family there and the address for all 3 apartments dont exist when checked out and they then ask for money gram or western union. I might take an aparthotel now. Found AKA and Affinia. Anyone stayed in them? New York is not like orlando......

We have also stayed at the Milford Plaza, certainly is a good central location.
Our last visit two years ago we stayed at the Clarion Hotel, Park Avenue. A smaller hotel, close to Grand Central Station.

We stayed at one near Grand Central Station once also but I can't remember the name of the hotel - shame because it was quite nice.
