    Do you know your birds?

    This flew into our garden a few days ago with its dinner, we think it is a Sparrow Hawk, but are not too sure.

    Haven't seen a pidgeon in the garden since [msnoo]

    Yes, Shirley we agree it is a female Sparrow Hawk. Lovely photo.

    Does that make it a "Pidgeon hawk" rather than "Sparrow hawk"
