    Sons graduation

Hi as I write this I'm getting things ready for us to go to our sons graduation. This is a new experience for us and I know I'm going to shed some tears tomorrow!
I can't believe that the 3 years have flown by as quickly as they have, it seems only yesterday we were leaving him in his room at the start of the 1st year(sob!!)

Have a great day, it's a wonderful occasion. Take plenty of hankies and a camera! I’ve now been to 2 graduations, my daughters and my own last year in Versailles France. It was such a brilliant day it made the long slog to get there worthwhile.
    [cheers]

Thanks to everyone for their kind wishes. It was a lovely day, all the graduates looked so smart and grown up, I surprised myself by not crying, just choked up when it was his turn to be presented. I will try to post some pictures soon ( never tried doing that before)

Glad you had such a wonderful day, Margaret. It is certainly a day to remember. One of my fondest memories of my daughter's graduation was seeing her and her friends all throwing their mortar boards in the air after the ceremony - managed to catch it on camera, too!

It is sad, however, to realise that they are now so grown up - when they are babies all those broken nights seem to go on forever, then suddenly they are about to go into the big wide world.

Many congratulations to him on gaining his degree and good luck for the future.
