could anyone please advise whether or not supermarkets sell cider?

Not 100% sure, but you may find it in the Off license part of the supermarket
Some supermarkets have these as a separate shop within the supermarket or a separate entrance.

Cider is sold along with beer in most of the supermarkets such as Wal-Mart and Publix. It is really just spirits that wont be sold in the supermarkets and you can buy those at the Liquor stores.

We found Cider hard to come by when we were there recently, however there were a couple of options. Publix sells Strong bow, but the Liquor store next to the Publix on the 192 near arabian nights sells Magners[msnsmile2]. I couldn't find any cider at all in the Walmart and Target stores
