I agree with the others - Yes to pool and spa heat. Before we had our own villa and were renting we decided not to go for pool heat (the owners suggested we would not need it), that was a bad move for us early morning swimmers and jacuzzi lovers.

Also, reserve your villa early to avoid disappointment. Owners may be able to be a little flexible with dates until your flights are available.

Hi Allan,

Always go for pool heat and yes September is much quiter than July and August. As a matter of fact late September and October are in my view the best time to go....

Flights normally gets released frome the airlines 330 days before departure - but start checking now as some might release them earlier.

With regards to carhire you can wait until next summer if you want.

Use this site and they will only take a £25.00 deposit on car hire with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival.

Welcome to the forum. Start planning as soon as possible so that you have time to look at all your options. We dont bother with pool heat in September but it is cool when you first get in. You will find plenty of help on the forums to get you started so just ask.

Allan it is a personal choice. We've had guests request it for August and others who didn't want it in March....they is brave!!! [bowwave]

Hi Allan

I would have pool heat as I am a wimp! Book your villa as soon as poss, and do a search for your flights. Villa owners can help with flights, car hire and park tickets, for instance I put links on my enquiry replies to this site to make it easier for guests. You can book your flights and park tickets and car hire nearer the time.
