...... and have just googled Millenia.

When I read the tag line ...'for those who like to surround themselves with luxury' I kinda got the hint that it's a tad out of my league. May just go for the experience though, who knows, I may even be able to fool a couple of folk that I'm rich ............not !!!!

Joking apart, it looks like a fab place to visit and I guess we will 'pop in' at some stage to have a look.

And just a little north of there there is a Walmart at Cagans crossing and various other ones which have opened at Cagans crossing (maybe not a days worth yet though.

Further north there is also the West Oaks mall on hway 50 in Clermont.

I would check out if you can arrange it so hubby could pick you up from Florida Mall(or Premium outlets - you can get the Iride between Florida mall andpremium).

For a FULL day shopping I would probably choose Florida Mall too as it is the biggest and also if the boys are doing something in the area, they could come and collect the first wave of bags from you between activities.[msnwink] My favourite though is Lakeland Square mall which is on H98, around 25 minutes from the H27/I4 junction towards Tampa. Far less tourists so often the prices are less

After reading a recommendation on this site, I'm heading to Winter Garden Village as my first (of many!) shopping expedition this trip. Check out their website at www.wintergardenvillage.com. I think you could easily spend a whole day there. It has some of the big shops like Super Target, Bealls, Old Navy, and Linens N Things where you can easily spend 1-2 hours browsing in each, as well as smaller stores. All stores are listed on the website. There are also many restaurants which I am dying to try. Perhaps your family could drop you in the morning, come back to collect the first round of bags and enjoy lunch, and leave you for the afternoon/evening shift!

Wherever you decide to go, I know you'll find loads to buy and won't believe the prices. Have fun!

Hi again Norrie. I've just seen your post on another thread about taking one change of clothes and buying the rest out there - great idea. Just wondering whether you were planning to take empty suitcases with you? Reason I ask is that luggage is also a fantastic bargain out there (what isn't?!). We have bought a couple of the hard Samsonite suitcases for less than half the UK price. If anyone's interested, I can recommend the shop.
