    Evening Entertainment

Ok, so we've got all the theme park tickets covered. This time it's a Dicovery Cove Swim with dolphins plus Aquatica, Busch Gardens & Sea World ticket coupled with a Disney 6 day Magic your way base ticket. This is where I need your help, I've seen various evening entertainments that we may like to visit (on our days off) but don't want to commit ourselves in advance. It'll be a case of booking it when we're over there, if we can. Can anyone recommend a reputable agent or such like that we can visit the day, or a couple of days before to book evening attractions? I don't want to get sucked into any timeshare!

    Thanks

I was going to say the same. With internet access you could book through this site, knowing it has a good reputation. You would be well looked after and the folks here are always willing to go that extra mile for their customers.

To be honest, with our two teenaggers, we were looking forward to forsaking the internet for 2 weeks. Not sure how they'll cope though. We're planning to do a day or two at a time at the parks (we'll see how that pans out) and then on our days off, perhaps a little shopping or crazy golf, maybe a ride out to the coast. Those are the days we may like to take in an evening show so it would be very much a last minute decision, 24 hours in advance max. I saw a suggestion in another thread for a drive-in movie, I like the idea of that. Might do Old Town too, although we have been there before.

Silver Moon Drive in theatre. You get 2 movies usualy for a few dollars. We haven't been yet but it's on our list for next time provided the films are ok. If you google it you'll get the link as I cant post it here.

Can you book the show tickets by phone, Martin? Not sure why but I thought that was an option. Failing that the only other option is to buy them at the door. If youu get a list of phone numbers for thee shows you may be interested in then at least you can check availability when you get there.

You all might enjoy Cirque du Soleil or Blue Man Group, although I don't know how easy it would be to get tickets at the last minute. It would depend what time of the year you are going. Or you may be able to get some tickets for sporting events, eg basketball (Orlando Magic), baseball, etc. When we went at Xmas, my husband and son booked tickets for Tampa Lightning (NHL ice hockey team) a couple of days ahead. From our villa on Hwy 27, it only took them about an hour to get there. We booked the tickets through Ticketmaster.

If you google Orlando Events you will be able to get listings of events for the dates you are visiting.
