    US AIRWAYS AND CONTINENTAL AIRWAYS

    Anyone used either of these recently? Lgw to MCO.
    Trying to find out answers to;

    Do they have backseat tvs or overhead?
    Do they have meals incl?
    Complimentary Drinks?
    Luggage allowance?

    Looked at both sites, neither seem to give me the answers I'm looking for

    We flew Continental from MCO via Newark to Bristol last Monday and Yes, we did have seat back TV's but on the way over they were the overhead ones, so I think it depends on which plane they use. Meals are included and soft drinks, alcohol is £3 or $5 to buy onboard The luggage allowance is 23kg

    We are flying with Continental and they use the old 757 with overhead TV's. They do have the seatback ones in the newer planes, but you need to check if they are using them on your route. By all accounts they are very good in the service dept.

    This might help you, as Tricia has said the tv's are not all standard seatback tv's although they are moving more and more towards that, but its the luck of the draw.

    Used both from Manchester via New York (Continental) & Phili (US Airways)

    Both great airlines not had any problems and you get slighly more leg room on the American Airlines than UK one's like BA & Virgin etc.

    Our prefered choice of Airlines to the States.

    We have flown US Airways many times from LGW to MCO. Always had seat back tvs and free soft drinks. Food is ok as airline food goes. You can find all the details you are looking for on their web site including luggage allowances and which films they are showing for the this month and next.
