Car pickup from Miami

Hi all

Just about to book car hire and would like some advice please.
This Year we would like to pick up our car (Standard SUV) from Miami
airport and drop off in Orlando international airport. We are considering using Alamo, has anyone used Alamo in Miami, are they OK to deal with, and what are the current vehicals supplied (Standard SUV)?

We have used Alamo at Miami and not had any problems. All car hire at Miami is 'off site' and the pick up buses run frequently. We had a standard SUV at Christmas from Alamo at Tampa but with Alamo you have a choice and we chose a Toyota 4Runner.

Can't comment on Alamo but did this with Dollar last year and it was no problem. As already said the garages are off site but teh buses run regular.

We often pick a car up from Miami and have had no problems whatsoever. The shuttle buses are frequent and it is only a few minutes away from the airport.

We've just done this with Dollar but I can't think of why other Hire Co's would be a problem.[msnsmile2]

hey guys just wondering has anybody picked a car up from mosaic hotel on miami beach?

Not sure which hotel it was but a few years back I collected a car from Dollar at a hotel on Collins. It worked to our advantage as they did not have the car we had ordered so had an upgrade without any pressure to take an upgrade as the car we ordered would be to small, not enough boot space etc etc, so could not complain

Here's one more, are the busses to the various car hire companys easy to find? (first time to miami airport)!

No problem at all they pull up outside arrivals

As Lynne said it is very easy after collecting your cases follow the exit and outside you cross the first lane and look for the bus stop for the company you are hiring from.
