pre pay card

Hi there

We are going to Orlando in 2 weeks time, cant wait!!!

Last year we were victum to credit card fraud (in this country) and although it was sorted out relatively hastle free it really shook me. So this year I purchased 2 pre pay cards (virgin & the sun/tuxedo) the plan is to put amounts of cash on each and use my debit card (also taking cash). Has anyone used these? or does anyone have any advice/info?

What debit card will you be using?

The last couple of years we have been using our Nationwide Flex debit cards to get money out of atm's abroad. So far we've used them in Florida and Spain without any problems and receive business rate of exchange.

We also use their credit card as well, no fraud problems but in one shop I later found that the transaction had gone through in £'s rather than allowing Nationwide to use their exchange rate.

Never heard of the cards you are planning to use so can only suggest that you read the small print to make sure you're aware of the terms and conditions and whether there are any hidden charges.

If you are planning to use your credit card abroad you should ring your supplier to let them know before you leave.
