Credit card payment at Budget

Hi
Does anybody know how much "space" is needed on a credit card when collecting a car from Budget in Orlando? Do they "block out" a chunk for the duration of the hire or do they just check that it is valid.

I am going in 4 weeks and need to know how much i should have available on a CC.

Any help/ideas would be gratefully appreciated.

I am pretty sure they just check the validity, if booked through this site, it is only used for a fuel charge if there is one or if you are late back
