    Virgin Customer Service

Well flying to Gatwick tonight and then off to Orlando tomorrow but just can't believe the standard of customer service that we have got from Virgin. Would not book through them again if they paid me. Disgusting way to treat passengers who have paid over 2 grand to fly with them.

Think I saw something recently about this on here. Wish I had taken note!!! [msnwink]

Anyway just wondered of anyone had a number for them with does not go to their overseas call centre and gets you through to someone who deals with customer issues? They seem happier to let problems happen then deal with them when you get home rather than prevent them. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with Virgin. I have only ever used them a couple of times and had no problem at all.

You could try the "new booking" option when you call them as I think that is in the UK, and then insisting on speaking to someone, or you could phone their main number and then not taking any of the offered options. Sometimes you can get directly through to a real person by doing this.

    Hope this helps.

If you are also going to Gatwick tonight they should have representatives there at the ticket desk who may also be able to assist more directly and then it's not on the day of flight.

Although you are not well pleased with your Customer Service from Virgin, do try not to let it eat away with you on your holiday. Just erase it whilst you are in Orlando and then maybe things will seem a bit better.

    Have a great holiday.

    Definitely write a letter.

A friend went on honeymoon with Virgin and there were some problems. He wrote a letter and a week or so later received a phone call from Richard Branson! I can't remember the exact outcome, but it was extremely satisfactory! [msnsmile2]

You need to let someone know about the problems so a letter is probably the cheapest option, unless you want to wait half a day on the phone to get through. Like the idea of calling the bookings line and then asking to get put through!

A letter for those sorts of things is always the best option as they are more likely to reply in an appropriate manner. Phone calls usually end up with 'I'm very sorry' and that's about it.
