Convertible

Just thought I would say that we ordered 2 convertibles for this holiday one for us and one for our son with Dollar. We were a bit worried as we thought we might get a PT Cruiser. Anyway we got a Sebring and Matthew a Mustang. So all happy bunnys. Great service as usual from the car hire link on here!

I booked a convertible with Dollar last month. I booked a "Sebring or similar", but got landed with a PT Cruiser when I arrived. I challenged the desk agent, as this was a downgrade to a smaller vehicle. He just shrugged his shoulders and said "a convertible is a convertible"

However, after a call to Dollar, they agreed that this was a downgrade, and they refunded me $150, which was the difference between the Pt Cruiser and the Sebring, plus a little extra to compensate for the inconvenience.

We were given a PT once but George went back in and told them he didn't want it and they changed it to a Sebring.
