Wendy, most car rental is pot luck what make of vehicle you get in that class.
But with Alamo you have a better chance as you are free to pick the vehicle you want, in your category, from the parking lot.

    Hope you are lucky.

Thanks for the photos David - we had a Dodge Journey last time but this looks just as good so think we might try it.
One thing we found with the Alamo kiosks is that if you book your car hire with Alamo via the Virgin Atlantic flying club portal (to get flying club miles) it takes you to the Alamo website where you book - all ok so far - then when we got to the kiosks at the MRC they would not recognise the reference number which the helpful assistant told us was because we had booked via the website from the UK - very frustrating when Virgin Holidays customers who had also booked were able to use the kiosks! we would still use Alamo but will make sure when we book that we can use the kiosks as they are still better than waiting in a queue - oh and you need to have the credit card with which you booked with you too!

    Hi MJ
We had this problem and was told by the assistant manning the kiosk to go straight out to the parking lot and they will sort you out, and avoided the long line!!
