Question for Roger on Sat Nav

Roger can you please adise me what to do as we have a problem with our sat nav that we have hired from the link above. Went to use it this afternoon but would not switch on it was working previous to this and switched off with no problems. There was power going from the power supply cable, any advise as what to do. We only arrived Saturday and have still 9 days to go.

any advise would be appreciated.

is it a tom tom , if so there is a reset button, ours does this quite regular , not turning on , or locking up

click the reset button with a pin or something similar & you should be good to go

It sounds like the unit has gone flat. It can take an hour for the unit to recharge and then you may need to press the reset button. Basicly follow everything in the leaflet.

If the power cord is plugged into the mount, take it out and plug into the back of the unit or if the power cord is plugged into the unit take it out and plug it it the mount.

If the car is in the garage let it charge over night (will not flatten the battery). If pressing the rest button the power needs to be on (green light on unit - not just charger).

Thanks for all your help, i have reset the tom tom for the second time and it seems to be working now.
