Most chargers are duel voltage 110/240, it will say on the box

I am also thinking about getting a new digital camcorder, specifically the Canon HF100. I can't find a hack online to convert it from NTSC to PAL format, but I am wondering if this is really an issue. It records onto SD card in AVCHD format and this is the file format that I think you play with on your computer. Therefore is NTSC/PAL really an issue or as I can then collate the video and play with it on my PC (which I am more than likely to do, rather than play it straight onto the TV), is there really no issue.

Any techy folks with any thoughts?

Most uk tvs will play back NTSC anyway
