xbox 360 games

Hi, has anybody bought xbox 360 games in Orlando? I was wondering if they work over here.

I want to get some games and an extra controller for my son, but was wondering if they would work over here. And by the way, are the games any cheaper or do they work out at about the same price?

As far as I know some of the games are region free but not all games. The games do tend to be cheaper in US, similar price in $s to £s.
