Aquatica!

We were up and out early so decided to drop by a few shops on I Drive and on driving past aquatica could see the cars queued up waiting to park needless to say we didn't spend long in the shops.
Parking up i have to say that was the longest entrance queue i have ever seen but they moved people along quite quickly and we had no problem getting decent sunbeds between the 2 pools.

We started off in the wave pools and liked the clocks (very useful when you lock everything away in a locker)and how they count down from 10 to the start of the waves. The crowd count down too

checked out the dolphins who are pretty cute

Tried out the rapids with life vests on which was great fun and then the lazy river but didn't enjoy it.Its not as long as disneys and with the amount of people and rings it was pretty crammed. On checking out the other rides we found the queues huge and with a brisk wind and occassional clouding over it was a bit chilly so decided to give them a miss.

A second dip in the rapids and drying off on the sunbeds we decided to get some lunch before leaving.Long queues for food but was worth the wait we decided to leave after burning with suncream on in just a couple of hours.I didn't see many shaded areas so anyone with small children needs to be careful.
Heard from another guest that he'd been to blizzard beach and walked on every ride which if you're visiting shortly is worth keeping in mind.

Left around 1pm and the entrance to the car park was blocked off by the police as the park was full and headed over to Florida mall stopping at petco to get our dog "sooty" a present (now a tradition)

After the mall we dropped into walmart to grab some essentials and some non essentials i had my eye on [msnwink]

An evenning meal of drive through mcdonalds we retired to bed.
