dollar pre register on line

hello everyone
we have just received our tickets and car hire voucher as we booked a fly drive

so the car hire is with dollar
there is a pre-registration card which i have filled in already , but it does say you can pre register on line
well i used the link and its asking for name and confirmation number , but i can't find one on any paperwork ?? if i call travel direct will they have one ??

or does it even really make it any easier or quicker
or just go with the flow when we arrive , i just thought it might save a bit of time on arrival ,
its our first time , so want it to go as smooth as possible

is it a long wait to get your hire car ??
and does anyone know what car we might get ?? we have reserved a full size car , with platinum cover any additional advice is much appreciated , i am convinced we are going to get hit with something when we go to the car hire [msnsad]

thank you all very much ...... i am just starting to worry about the car and driving side of it now its getting so near, and i have been taking my mind off it by looking at all the theme parks [msnsmile2] and other things

You will need to check with the company you booked through regarding Dollar Express and the voucher, as it differs from company to company. We are one of the only agents that can add Dollar Express to your voucher, so it may not be possible.

If you are landing at Orlando then having Dollar Express really can make a big difference to the waiting time for the car.

we booked through travel city direct

and i don't say we have the dollar express
i really don't know anymore about it

i gusee we will just have to wait and see when we get there

I would be interested to know what you paid for Dollar car hire through Travel City Direct if at all possible.

Sharon have a look at the UScarhire link at the top of this page for the car types. I would make sure this car is big enough for you as upgrading at the airport will cost a fortune

As for driving, take a deep breath, check where all your buttons and knobs are, put the radio on a station you like and remember the driver should be nearest the middle of the road [msneek] ...... then enjoy the wide roads and easy driving in that Florida sunshine

thank you shirley, pretty sure the car will be more than big enough providing we get what we think we have booked [msnsmile2]
i have drove in canada a lot so hopefully will be ok , once we get our bearings .. thanks again
