We have booked and paid for a 7 seater minivan from this site - great deal!!!!

We have booked for 3 weeks and my Mum and Dad are picking it up (we used our credit card) - we join them after 5 days and have it for a week after they leave.

We already checked that they can pick it up with the voucher that we have received through the post so that is great.

I have tried to register with Dollar express with my Mums details but she has just sent away for a new drivers licence so can't register for her just yet. My question is - can I register with my details and then when hers comes through update the booking?

The person that is named as the lead driver on the voucher is the one who's Express ID must appear on the voucher. If timing is going to be a problem, it might be worth putting your other parent down as the lead driver and them signing up for Dollar Express.

Ah OK. That would be my husband. Does it matter that it will not be him who is picking up the car?

The lead driver on the voucher must be present when collecting the car, and the Express ID be the lead drivers. Other drivers can follow on later, but as you know, they have to go to any convenient depot to sign the paper-work and show their license before they are insured to drive.
