    Legacy Park

My family and I are going to Orlando on the 23rd June 2008. We are staying in a Villa in Legacy Park.

Can anyone give me any information on this community. We have stayed at Hampton Lakes and High Grove before. Last visit was Jan 2005.

    What's new on highway 27?

    Hi,

There is some information in this topic about the new places on the 27:

I do not personally know much info about Legacy Park apart from its location but why not ask the owner of the villa you have booked, they will gladly give you all the info.

I am sure your villa owner would be delighted to give you as much information as you want. They will have specific local knowledge and if they are anything like us they will be only too pleased to help you in any way they can.

There is such a lot new on the 27 and it just keeps on getting better. From the SuperWalmart at Cagan's Crossing, to the numerous restaurants that have grown up around it, plus Town Center at Cagan's Crossing which even has a Fitness Club you can join on a temporary basis. You will have a great time I am sure.

    Hi

We own a Villa on the Retreat at Legacy Park, but as mentioned above Legacy Park is divided into several communities, once you are driving down Legacy Park Boulevard you will see all the different communities, it is a lovely area to stay and in a good location for the theme parks, I4 and 192. US27 really is getting more and more popular everyday, there is the Superwalmart at Cagan's crossing and also a Lowes next to Lowes there is a Chillis restaurant which I would highly recommend, (food and service was excellent and we have used it several times) there is also the new Posner Park development with shops like Target, J C Penny, Best Buys. There are also some shops (publix) and takeaways and restaurants at sandmine road which is a couple of minutes away from Legacy Park.

Quickest and easiest way to Disney is turn Left out of Legacy Park onto the 192, then look out for the traffic lights for Sherberth Road (Left turn), go down Sherberth Road to the traffic lights turn right and you are on the Disney Road near Animal Kingdom.

Hope this helps, but let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Thanks Dunc and Colleen. I have now found out the villa we are renting is also in The Retreat at Legacy Park. It is on Aldridge Lane and backs on to a conservation area. 6 weeks today and we will be mid atlantic, I cannot wait. I am more excited than my kids, is this normal?

    Hi Jonathan,
It sounds like it is near our villa. You will have great sunsets from the pool deck.[8D]
Legacy Park is very well placed for all the attractions, have fun!

This will be our third visit to Florida, the first since 2005. My youngest daughter is now 2.5 and asks every morning now "How long until Mickeyland dad?" It will be like the first time all over again experiencing it through her eyes. 31 sleeps to go[msnsmile]
