Which hire company are you using as they all use different cars?

Also, how many of you are travelling? Two adults and two kids should have enough room, but four adults would struggle in an intermediate sized car, especially to and from the airport.

We get a compact for two people...a mid size for 3...it is just getting the cases in...but we had the same problem with a mini van...when we had 5 people and one child..never enough room for the case unless you travel light...

To see the car types visit http://www.uscarhire.co.uk/CarTypes.aspx

All the intermediates will state for 5 adults but personally, I would suggest they are for 4 adults. If you are not sure how much room you will need for luggage etc, I would suggest the 7 seater.

We always err on the side of caution and have a bigger car than we think we need for the number of people.

    Reason? Luggage space!

I would strongly recommend you go for a much bigger car or better still a 7 seater or a 4x4 - I doubt you'd fit 3 small children in the back of an intermediate - and as for luggage!
