yep Terri our 19 year old who lives with us for the time being with her partner John, baby expected on the 12th may......
Terri woke me last night asking "how would i know if my waters had gone"? i checked her out, decided they had, didnt like the pain she was getting whilst sitting on my loo..... got her to the royal sussex county hospital in brighton by my car, contractions all over the place but not strong established ones at all,
anyway after a terrible night, we went in at 2.30am, parked up, had various checks done and sat and sat and sat.....
anyway contractions came and went all evening, we guessed the time of arrival...it came and went.... there was no stopping this little one, Terri eventually had an epidural even tho she really didnt want one, but due to a few problems felt it was nessacary to have it......we waited and waited..... then tonight we were told she could push at about 10 to 7 this evening, after several pushes it was decided that this needed to be done in theatre as the baby couldnty manage the browe of the hill so to speak.....anyway 7.36pm 19th april 2008 along came Summer Rose Lucas weighing 5lbs 15 1/2oz, 3 1/2 weeks early
shes a reall tiny beauty!! with assissted forceps delivery....
2 little girls within 3 days ..... how wonderful!! the grandchildren are all so close so will be lovely watching them all grow up together
