food items allowed into the states?

This may seem really silly does any one know what restrictions on food items are inforce now in the states, I am going to Florida next saturday for the first time in 4 years, I know what restrictions were in place then but foot and mouth changed that.
I plan to take Frosties,( not that we need them but we will arrive too late to shop at a decent supermarket Saturday)
    Jar of Marmite (essential lol)
    Jar of MY coffee
jar of french mustard ( just havent got the taste buds for the A1 steak sauce)
A suitcase as full as I can pack it of part baked bread/sliced bread.
any one know if any of these wouldnt be allowed????????

I would imagine all that will be ok - Marmite is vegetarian so you will be ok there - don't take Bovril though as it has beef stock which is not allowed.

Basically, no meat, fish or fruit.

I would think mustard is the only thing you can take in.

The wal-mart on 192 near medieval times is 24 hours. I'm sure there are other supermarkets open on the way to your vacation home. Plus with the current exchange rate most of your items would be cheaper than the uk.

Is coffee not allowed and how about tea bags I have always taken a jar of Nescafe in the past as hubbie cant stand the coffee over there and this year I am taking some PG as I go through loads of the Liptons due to the fact that I have to use 2 each time I make a cuppa as they are not strong enough

please tell me that we can still take them [msnscared]

From the looks of it my tea and coffee apear to be safe and it does say that baked goods are generally admissable so I think Limara's breads will be as well not sure about the frosties though

    Thanks again Blott

Best to declare anything just in case the sniffer dogs get you or the regulations change suddenly. At least that way you don't get fined or arrested for not telling them! Don't forget there are meat products in various things where you least expect them such as mince pies containing suet (and fruit) for instance!

I just assumed from the way you get quizzed nowadays the only thing you seem to be allowed to bring in is tea bags and chocolate, sweets and biscuits. We do take in tins of baked beans which cost an arm and a leg in publix, but I do buy Marmite over there.

Had the once over from the sniffer dogs over some tangerines the girls ate on the plane going over, and wouldn't want it again!
