New Member living in Normandy, France

Dear Forum Members,

Let me introduce myself and my family. My Irish wife, Marion and myself emigrated to Normandy 16 years ago and have had a wonderful time in France. We decided however several years ago that when the time is right we would love to move to Florida, Orlando to be specific. Normandy is beautiful but cold and wet and we both need sunshine. We both love Florida. Our 15 year old son has lived his whole life in France but it has been his ambition for what seems like forever to go to University in the USA.
We really want to emigrate to Orlando but at the moment it looks like a bit of a minefield so we are hoping that your forum will help us through the stages that we will need to follow to achieve our dream.
I look forward to 'meeting' you all.

Loads of info, do you have Frenchcitizenship now? If so, maybe the Green Card Lottery?

No I'm still UK citizen, I could never see the point of changing. My wife is Irish and I believe they can apply to the lottery. That might be one route worth pursuing.
