    Hi Steven,

I cannot really tell you anything about Bass Lakes community itself but it's location on US27 is really good. Its very near to our community and there are lots of new eating places that have recently opened and you are very near to the 192. I am sure you will have a great time.[msnsmile]

We have stayed in two lovely villas at Bass Lakes.

It's a nice quiet community and is ideal for all the eating places on the 192.

Walmart is just around the corner, which for me is fab. Only trouble was by the
end of the holiday, the rest of the family were fed up with daily trips there!! [msnembarrased]

I'm sure you will love it and have to say it's one of my favourite communities.

    Have fun[msnsmile2]

    Hi Steven

We have been visiting Orlando Florida with the children for over 15 year now! originally we stayed in hotels, then back in 2003 we rented our first villa on Bass Lake Estate! following that we never returned to a hotel ever again.and always stayed on bass lakes.
We loved the community that much we bought the villa we first stayed in back in 2003.The community is one of the most central vacation communities in central Florida! only 20 mins to Orlando Airport and less than 10 minutes to Disney world.as K above has said you can walk to the Wal-Mart and there is a large selection of shops and restaurants close by on the 192.you have an abundance of golf courses on you doorstep and beaches are approx 45 mins away! to Coco beach or Melbourne beach. Have a great vacation.

thanks to everyone for the info. one more question does £60 a week to heat the swimming pool with spa seem reasonable?

    Hi Steven

we charge $125/£65 to heat the pool per week with no spa, so that seems a very reasonable price to me.
    Have a great vacation.
