    decisions, decisions

    hello to all
i have sorted out the satnav now through this forum.
    now the car
i just cant make my mind up standard 4x4 or 7 seater 4x4 i would go with alamo because i an choose the vehicle's and the 7 seater is only £ 8.00 more. but i just dont know if the wife would drive the 7 seater.
also is the 7 seater more thirsty. decisions, decisions, thanks

I would imagine that the 7 seater is a little more thirsty but personally I would always go with the bigger option, especially if it is only £8 more. It is so much easier to drive in Florida and the roads seem so much bigger. I am sure you could persuade your wife to drive the bigger model, tell her there will be much more space in the trunk for all the shopping, that should work[msnwink]

So easy to Park in Florida as the spaces are a lot bigger.

For £8 it's a no brainer. Take the bigger vehicle for more flexibility and easy trips to and from the airport, especially if you take home more than you brought.

We have a 7 seater at home and I hate it with our narrow roads and parking spaces. In Florida I think I could drive a truck and not worry, the parking spaces are big car size and the roads wide

I drive a Ford Fiesta here all the time but have absolutely no problems with driving the 7 seaters in Florida. With the extra width on roads and parking spaces it is quite easy. We have also found on long journeys they are more comfortable. (Plus I can do more shopping - which is perhaps why Stuart prefers to have a compact[msnwink])

We have a big 7 seater 4 x 4 here in Canada ( Ford Expedition Max.) They are great to drive. Us parking is a doddle as the car parks expect big cars. Petrol ( gas) is so cheap compared to the UK that you won't even notice it. Go for it.

The thing about the 7 seater that makes us go for it is that they tend to have integral car seats for children. I don't know if you have children but those are worth their weight in gold.
