short cut to Disney

I will be staying in Oak Island Cove in May.Can anybody tell me the shortcut to Disney that i have heard mentioned.

Hi Terry,

The shortcut is via Sherberth Road. From Oak Island, turn right, left onto Formosa Gardens Blvd, right on to the 192, Sherberth is the next intersection, so make your way to the left hand lane asap. Turn left on to Sherberth Road, follow it all the way down, at the lights turn right on to the Osceola Parkway and you are at Animal Kingdom

How to get to Disney ‘the quick way’ from Emerald Island

Take a right out of Emerald Island Resort, at the crossroads of Funie Steed and Formosa go straight ahead onto the dirt track, not very long though but quite bumpy so go slow.

At the next crossroads go straight ahead.

You then come to another junction turn left at this one and go Entry Point, at the end of the road you are in Disney territory, turn right, then animal kingdom is on the left.

Second Option (avoiding dirt track)

Take a right out of Emerald Island Resort, at the crossroads of Funie Steed Formosa turn left, go straight ahead and at Red Lobster turn right onto the 192 east, turn left at first traffic lights onto Entry Point and follow above directions.
