Car Hire from Atlanta

Hi everyone,

has anyone ever hired a 7 seater from atlanta dropped it off at a cruise port (port canaveal) and hired again to drive back to atlanta to go home. I know its a lot of driving but i wondered if there were places to see on the way down from atlanta ?

does anyone have any advice on the most cost and time efficeint way of doing this ?

I do know people who have done it and by all accounts it is a boring drive on which you have to be careful to watch your speed. I would have thought it might be more scenic by heading over to Savannah on the coast and heading down the 95 if you were going make a holiday of the journey
