    BACK home to cold

back home yesterday to the cold. thought i would share our trip with you! Our family, me hubby 2 daughters 16, son 14 and his friend 14 and daughters boyfriend 16. horrid trip outwards... luckily we took advantage again of twighlight checkin at gatwick as flight was packed and alot of families split up on plane. virgin staff less than helpfull and downright rude! decided to search my daughters and me, no probs she was lovely and we had a laugh. husband not so happy when just about to board his ticket stub was missing. considering virgin staff only ones to touch it they moved it! but very rude lady said 'you will have to pay for the flight again' this went on for ages until found it eventually in with my daughters stub (virgins fault but they didnt admit it) plan late to leave by an hour. huge cue at security in usa. just so tired by then. usual cherpy chappy at customs...no probs taking sons friend and daughters boyfriend they went in different queue and no probs at all. Dollar fobbed us off with the most wrecked car i have seen!!! hubby took it back in morning and we got a new one. stayed at the enclave for 7 days then royal pacific for 4. enclave ample as so local to everything kids could wonder to the shops etc. amazing weather for feb! in the 80's everyday.
magical kingdom friday 15th, busy but longest queue 20 mins fab!
typhoon lagoon saturday superb! got there 9am prime spot for the day. president sales monday amazing bargains. got ecko shirts usually 25.00 for 60 cents each!!
got tickets for Universal from this site paid £57.00 for 7 full days entry noticed on the door price $87.00 for the day! Brill savings.
Highlights: shuttle landing great view from enclave.
moon full eclypse amazing watching with large glass of pinot!
Mardi gras at universal got hundreds of beads.
snakes on mini golf! kids loved that.
    go karting on IDrive
hard rock, bahama breeze and margaritaville ALWAYS special
Hubby very pleased with the all you can eat for $5.95 at Cici's pizza! penny pinching!!!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time. Not so sure I would have liked the snakes on the golf course as I am snake phobic and shamed the family at Blizzard Beach when I saw one - but hey Mum's are allowed to show you up if you are under 18!
