    bringing items back

Hi,I wonder if anyone can help me? I would like to bring a lightweight folding pushchair back for my granddaughter ( great bargain from Walmart!)but as it's too big to go in a suitcase, I wondered if I would be charged for checking it in with my ordinary luggage. I know pushchairs are accepted as hold luggage, but as I won't have a baby in tow, would they still let me check it in free of charge?. I'm flying with Virgin.
    thanks Kate

Can you not just take it in the box as one of your 2 pieces of luggage. Virgin allow 2 pieces along with most scheduled airlines

before our daughter was born we bought back items still in their boxes so I feel that is a good suggestion for you to do the same. In our case it was a travel cot & a high chair. We fly either BA or Virgin I carnt remember which airline it was but they should both let you.
