Just wondered, which car hire companies are at the airport at Tampa and which do you get transportation to?
Dollar and Budget are at the airport Chris and Alamo requires transportation. Rental Counters are located across the walkway in both the Red Baggage Claim Area and across the walkway in the Blue Baggage Claim Area.

We used Alamo at Christmas and found it quick and easy to get the bus both to and from the airport. At the moment there are roadworks outside Tampa airport and the Alamo bus takes you past these to collect your car which was useful as you then avoid having to drive through them.
We rented from Dollar at Tampa and it was very easy

We always use Dollar at Tampa. Its just across the road as Mo says.
The first time we arrived there I had my Dollar Express card ready to go to the front of the queue - what queue??? I've never seen one there. The largest crowd!!! was 3 sets of renters but they were all being seen to.[msnwink]
