    crescent lakes

    Hello to all,
Looking for any and all info on crescent lakes. For example how far are we from the Airport, Disney? Are there places to eat fairly close by. Family making first Disney trip in April. We cannot wait. Also should we plan a full day for each of the parks within Disney?

Crescent Lakes is a great place to stay!

Orlando International Airport is around 20 - 30 minutes away, depending on the time of day and Disney is 15 mins away.

There are lots of local eating places within a few minutes serving all types of food as well as two super Wal-Marts, two Publix, a CVS and a Walgreens and lots of local stores. And not far away is Highway 192 with every sort of restaurant imaginable to choose from.

Crescent Lakes is in a huge wildlife conservation area so you should be able to spot lots of interesting animals and birds - last time we were there less than a month ago, there was a herd of deer grazing on the community grass!

There's a basketball court, soccer pitch, BBQ and picnic area, several tot lots and loads of space to move around.

Within a few minutes are a petting farm, a horse riding stables and an airboat ride location.

As to whether you spend a whole day in the parks or take a break either after lunch or mid afternoon for a swim in your pool and then return in the evening for the fireworks is really up to you and how much stamina you have!

    I'm sure you'll have a great time. [8D]
