pancakes

hey it's pancake tues and i was wondering

what do you tradionally have on your pancakes? do we all stick with golden syrup or sugar and lemon or are some of us more adventurous[ihop][ihop][ihop]

in this house it's tradional lemon and sugar with a twist, the twist being added extra fresh fruit this year, got to get the daily 5 a day into the kidies somehow[msnwink]

I like pancakes with Morello cherries, and ice cream with fresh cream over it. Very fattening but lovely.

Normally just syrup for me but sometimes I do chocolate sprinkles for you know who. If I am looking for something more substantial I would slice a banana or maybe strawberries on it too.

With the ones we make over here then it's the traditional lemon and sugar.

If I was in Florida then I go for syrup / fresh fruit (apple or cherry normally).
I do consider the US pancakes as a totally different beast though...

Like Martin, my American style pancakes it's strawberries , bananas and maple syrup.

I'm just about to make a batch for my nephew and I , which wil be proper pancakes with lemon and sugar.

I've got some hungry jacks sachets here as well so might just be forced to have some later after tea (well it would be churlish of me not to use the maple syrup my daughter bought back from Vermont for me at Christmas
