    VA Luggage allowance MCO

My daughter flew from MCO on thursday with VA. On check in she was told that the luggage allowance had just gone down but they would waiver the first 2 pound.

    Does anyone have any information?

Hi...when you use DownTown Disney checkin they weigh the cases and if they were between 23-25 k they let them go but over 25k they were not letting them go, you had to repack or pay excess...

According to the VA website it's two pieces of checked luggage per passenger, each weighing up to 23kg. I don't think that's changed has it? We've booked flights direct with VA. Maybe it's different if you've booked a package deal?

It changed last year from what it had been for years ie 2 ppieces at up to 32kg each to the new 2 pieces at 23kg each. certainly made a difference to us but doesn't mean the airlines have less to carry as before we managed with one case each and didnt have too many times when we were close to 32kg. Now however we take 2 bags each and this time because we had more room were quite close to the limit on 3 of them.
