Pleasure Island or City walk are good fun on NYE.

We went to Celebration, it was a charity event with stalls selling food and drink, bouncy casltes for the children, face painting, a clown making balloon shapes etc. Bands played from 7pm until 1am and a firework display at 12, plus the "snow" in the market square. We hope they will put it on again this year.

We too enjoyed Celebration. City Walk and Downtown Disney were both around $99+ tax for their events and as last tiem we went New Year we went to Epcot and were absolutely drowned and left at 9 after the fireworks we didnt want to risk the same thing happening.

This year though it was Tshorts and shorts even though we had jackets with us so was definitely better. The band wasnt brilliant but the overall atmosphere was good and the fireworks were amongst the best we have ever seen .

Epcot on NYE for us. Been a few times now, last time they did two firework displays, one earlier for younger familys and one at midnight[msnsmile2]
Both were awesome they seemed to last longer than usual as well[clap][clap][clap]
We ate in France last time, (which was very good), before fireworks.
Plus if its very busy in the park and you have a reservation in one of the restaurant's you are guaranteed entry to the park [msnwink] At least thats what Disney told us[msnwink]

We always go to Epcot too. Celebrate New Year at 7.00pm in the UK area, this year they had the Beatles tribute band playing. Then again at midnight. There is live entertainment all around the park and as already said the fireworks are fabulous. Ypu do need to get to the park early in the day as it is often full.

Derek it might be an idea if you gave us incline of what ages are in your party, Although most of the attractions cate for the whole family, some are geared up for the over 21's
