Taxi to Disney

I will be staying at Formosa Gardens in 2009 and was wondering if anybody could tell me an average taxi fare from there to the Disney parks as we will be going to the fireworks in the evening and would like to leave the car behind sometimes so we all can have a drink with our evening meal
In the past i have always driven but thought about occasional taxi.

It should average about $12 but that varies with the park you are going to.

Angela, I would say that $12 would get you about a mile down the road judging by what my son paid for taxis when he was out there last september. They paid on average $60 for a one way trip from Bridgewater Crossing into Animal Kingdom which was the closest park. They then used the disney transport buses into the parks from there but I believe Disney has now sussed this practice and stopped it. So $12 from Formosa gardens seems a bit low to me.

hi last august we got a taxi from animal kingdom back to lbv hotel it took about 15 mins cost 23 dollars. remember it will be really busy when u leave it might b difficult gettin one

A couple of years ago I got a taxi from Seaworld to Indian ridge Oaks (4 minutes drive from Formosa Gardens) and it cost $25.
