    Mardi Gras at City Walk

We are going to be in Orlando this spring while Mardi Gras is happening there. Has anyone been to this, how is the parade? Is it every night at City Walk? I don't think we will be there to catch any of the Sat. night concerts. Is there anything to this besides the parade and concerts?

    Mardi Gras at Universal Studios
    Saturday Nights February 2nd - April 19th

Turn your Saturday night into the biggest party east of the bayou with Mardi Gras at Universal Studios! The streets come alive with beads, live music, and a rocking parade—but that’s just the start.

Legendary bands take the stage to turn your night into a party of historic proportions! And no Mardi Gras celebration would be complete without all the cuisine and music that’s made The Big Easy famous.

    Universal's Grad Bash '08

On April 25 and 26, both Universal Studios and Universal's Islands of Adventure theme parks are being set aside just for graduating high school seniors to experience intense thrills, extreme excitement, and unforgettable fun.

Get your friends together and create memories they'll be talking about at every class reunion.

You might want to avoid the Grad Bash dates although I think the tickets are sold out already.

If you want to eat in the area, there's cajun food available.

It's Saturday nights only so it looks like you're going to miss out.

We have been the last 2 years, we loved them, great atmosphere, it was all about the bead catching and collecting when the parade comes through, the bands we saw in 2006 were slightly better, than last year, but the atmosphere was great both times. If I am reading correctly , you mention City Walk, but the Mardi Gras parade, bands and food stalls were all in Universal, we had annual passes, and did not pay extra for the Mardi Gras nights

    Thanks for the schedule!

I thought it was at Citiwalk. Oh dear, we were planning on going to Islands of Adventure, but not Universal Studios (been there, our teens are done w/Universal...) Have to figure this out.

Do you know about what time the concerts start?
