I don't know about Belfast but some of my guests were delayed two DAYS on their outward flight from Glasgow with this company in May 2007 so I'm guessing they won't be using them again when they return in June 2008! [msnwink]

Not flown with them myself but based on their reputation within the airline industry I would not even think about using them - sorry[msnsad]

We also had some guests in September who flew from Glasgow with Globespan and lost a day of their holiday as their flight was deferred by a day. Guest told me the airline said it was
down to "operational reasons" and no refund was offered or given for the delay.[msnsad]

I flew with flyglobespan from Glasgow last year and the flight was great. In fact it was better than some scheduled flights I've used. I also had guests who flew with them in Ocotber from Glasgow and they also praised them. Every airline has its faults. In fact, I have had more bad experiences for delays and losing days holidays with KLM/Northwest than any other airline.

I had two sets of guests use Globespan from Glasgow last year and they were very happy. No idea if they have gone downhill since then, but even the best of airlines can have delays and problems.

Our most beloved BA recently cancelled our return flights without letting us know - it was only due to this brilliant forum that we found out, quite by chance. We would have been pretty upset had we got to the airport and then discovered we had no return flights. As a result we have lost a day of our trip and they never even said sorry - they even wanted to fly us back to another airport and to take an indirect flight instead, leaving us in one place and our car in another - and no compensation for that little problem either.

Hopefully you will be ok, but in the meantime, try not to worry too much.

It is always swings and roundabouts with cancelled flights. even the best have these problems. My brother is in the industry and they do not have a good reputation, however all our guests that have used them have arrived and said the flights were great.
