Hope everyone has had a great Easter. I missed posting yesterday as we had family over and by the time everyone went home, it was quite late. I managed to resist the chocolate eggs but did succumb to a couple of chocs yesterday and today.

Sandra, it sounds as though you had a lovely birthday - belated birthday wishes xxx [party1][cheers]. Also I hope you and Alan have a lovely day tomorrow - give him my love and wish him a happy birthday xxx.

Julie, thanks for the pointers on my food diary - it is always welcome[msnsmile] The details on the points are below, but if this is not correct, just let me know. I am presuming that you can have half of one and replace with a half of another?

The Leerdammer is the Lightlife and I have just under one slice. A pack of 8 is 200g so I have worked out that this is 20g and as the allowance is 42g for HEA, a half will be .05 - I suppose I am able do this?. The tinned tuna is the one in brine. I have half a 113g tin.

    Diary for yesterday
Oats so simple HEB, 100ml ss milk HEA - rest in latte coffee, ryvita multigrain with marmite.
Steamed new potatos, green beans, carrots, 142g lemon sole HEB, mixed fruit salad, muller light
Baked potato, baked beans, very low fat cottage cheese
    2 chocolate brazils 6 syns

    Diary today
Oats so simple HEB, 100ml ss milk HEA - rest in latte coffee, Ryvita with 42g Leerdammer cheese HEB, banana
Mixed salad with v.low fat cottage cheese and 56g tuna in brine .05 HEA, sliced mango and pineapple with muller light.
    2 Ferror Rocher chocs - 7 syns

Yesterday was not a planned day at all.

    Porridge for Breakfast HE B
    Milk x 2 HE A
    Turkey and salad for lunch
    Jacket Potato for tea.HE B
    Plenty of fruit and yogurt
    Caramel egg 8.5 syns

I know it looks a little rubbish for yesterday but we were out shopping most of the day and I couldn't be bothered cooking for myself when we got home.

Belated Birthday Wishes Sandra and very best wishes to you and your husband today, hope you both have a lovely day.[cheers]

Belated birthday wishes to you Snadra and to hubby, Alan. How wonderful to be renewing your marriage vows on such a special day [cheers]

Elaine, your new avator is lovley [msnsmile]

Totally wrecked the diet yesterday! Hubby was out in the garden all day and the house was very quiet, Catherine, our daughter, went out with a friend and our youngest son son was away for the weekend. I spent the day watching TV (makes a change!!!) and.... eating chocolate [msnsad] Very angry with myself today! So, going to do a food diary all week.

Thanks for the information Julie. With my little scales I weigh the food for the HEs and syns - they have been an enormous help. I have also started a list of the foods I eat most and have calculated the syn value to make it easier.

Julie, staying on plan for the next 3.5 weeks will make the effort totally worthwhile - keep it up[clap][clap]

Frances [grouphug] - making up with the food diary should be a great help[grouphug]

Dropping in with my food diary for yesterday, green again

    weetabix & milk (HE A&B)
    2 x bananas
jacket potato with salad & mackerel fillet (HE B)
fox's ginger crunch cream (3.5 syns)
    chicken noodles
    mandarin
    total syns = 3.5 [angel]

Been on the scales today and lost 1 lb. It is coming off slowly but in the right direction at least. Just looked back over my progress on SW site and it has taken me over a month to lose 2 lb [msncry]

I really want a few more lbs off for Florida so onwards I go

Catch up later - off out to the Hilton later this morning to meet a friend [msncool] Usually sit and eat a huge platter of fruit (will be asking them to leave off the Dragon Fruit this week [sick])

    Have a great day everyone

    Elaine
