Oh right thanks Julie that's not to bad then[msnsmile2]

Thanks Sandra, not sure if you would want the Hot Cross Buns - personally I don't think they were worth the 6 syns.

We are having SW Ferrero Rochers next week[msntongue]

Well done Pamela on getting your award and now weighing less than a year ago. It is working!! Hope George will cook some Hot Cross Buns in Florida or I will feel deprived as don't expect I will be eating any.

Brenda, glad you took the steps to attend the class even though it was boring. Hopefully you will find another class not too far away, and at least you had a 2lbs loss. Hope to see you eating a bit more as I was also concerned you are not eating enough. I eat just as much food but it is different food than before. I always just fill up on fruit with low fat cottage cheese or ff fromaige frais or yoghurt. I usually have 2 large bowls a day and it is really filling.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

[msneek] Julie - that is very out of character for you!!
But like Pam says it is done now - you will have to use how you feel now as your motiviation for being extra good over the next few days.

Unfortunately it's the sort of thing I do too regularly [msnembarrased]

oh dear Julie that is so unlike you, try not to be too hard on yourself because you can count it as syns [grouphug][grouphug][grouphug] remember one bad day does not always equal a bad week you can still go on and lose some weight this week

Paula the ferrero rochers SW style are scan bran crushed and then you stir in nutella and shape into chocs, the scan bran can be a healthy extra so the only syns come from the choc spread [msnwink] i have tried these at a food taster and they are so nice [msntongue]

Julie, try not to be too hard on yourself,[grouphug] 34 syns is not irretrievable and as Pamela says, it just means a few syns less for a few days.

Pamela, the hot cross bun receipe sounds great and may try it at the weekend as I love hot cross buns, especially toasted with jam.[msntongue]

Maria, I am a real chocoholic and you may have noticed my food diaries always have at least one choc a day, usually chocolate brazils, one of my favourites with ferrero rocher. This will definitely be on my list to bake. Any idea how many syns for each one? Not sure what scan bran is? Is it a type of cereal or crispbread?

Sandra, I think I will have to learn to change what I eat and not the amounts. I like cottage cheese, fromage frais and yogurt so perhaps need to have more. Its shopping day tomorrow so will try and shop more intelligently.

    Food diary today:

50g Jordans muesli (HEB) with 100ml skimmed milk (HEA)
opps, missed lunch again today - too busy.
evening meal - fresh pasta with tomato and mascapone sauce, fruit salad with half a pot of muller light.
    1 chocolate brazil
Drinks so far just green tea and black coffee.
Syns -9, I think. Not sure of syns for pasta sauce

Brenda sorry to be the one to tell you but 50g of Jordans Museli is not a HEB, 50g would be around 10 syns depending on which variety[msnsmile] But 28g plus a Ryvita is a HEB[msnsmile2]

Also skimmed milk is 350 mls for a HEA not 100mls[msnwink]

HE's are vital for good health and therefore its vital that they are weighed and measured and you should have at least 1 HEA and 2 HEB's daily[msnsmile]

Fresh pasta is also NOT free only dried pasta, fresh is pre cooked often in oil[msnsad] So fresh pasta would be around 2 syns for every cooked 100g on a green day and 7.5 syns on a red day[msnwink]

The pasta sauce would be 7.5 syns for 350g pot[msnsmile]

A chocolate brazil is 3 syns.

I have amended your food diary to highlight where you are going wrong and I hope it helps[grouphug]

50g Jordans muesli (HEB) 56g = HEB's x 2 with 100ml skimmed milk (HEA) if you had 175 mls it would = half a HEA
opps, missed lunch again today - too busy. - Eat lunch!
evening meal - fresh pasta with tomato and mascapone sauce, fruit salad with half a pot of muller light. Cooked pasta is very heavy so I would say 6 syns for pasta and 7.5 for sauce
    1 chocolate brazil = 3 syns
Drinks so far just green tea and black coffee.
Syns -9, I think. Not sure of syns for pasta sauce

So I would think your syns for today would be around 16.5[msnsmile2]

Its a bit of a learning curve when you first start SW and my advice would be to weigh and measure your HE's make sure you have 2 x HEB's and at least 1 correct amount of HEA, and double check everything until you are familiar with what's 'free' and what's not, eat as much 'free' food as possible as this is key to long term success along with speed foods all of which are list in your sw book[msnsmile] Finally eat lunch!!!![grouphug]

Brenda - take a look at the SW site if you enter your food diaries there it helps also it lists all HEA's & B's.

We won the raffle this week and it was ingrediants for ratatouille pasta melt. Made it last night delicious[msntongue].

I will post recipe if anybody wants it?
