    Well done Paula and Elaine[clap][clap][clap]

We've just got back from class and we are pleased[clap]. I lost 3lbs so that now totals 11.5lbs in 3 weeks and George lost another 6lbs!!!! making 14.5lbs in 3 weeks and of course he was slimmer of the week again (at least I don't have to buy fruit!). I am really pleased for him and don't feel envious at all because as long as he is sticking to it, the easier it is for me and I realise that men always lose more weight than we do. Unfair I know but ho hum that's life [msncry].[/quote]Pam how did I miss this post[msnembarrased][msnembarrased][msnembarrased]

    Very well done[clap][clap][clap][clap][clap][clap]

Sandra good to have you back and it sounds like you had a fabulous time and you will soon be back to target[msnsmile2]

Welcome back Sandra! I know you will soon have those pounds off as I have seen your willpower first hand.

Sounds as if you had a fantastic cruise love to try it one day! We are at the villa from May 31st - June 22nd so we will have to meet up again.

    Well done losers[clap][clap][clap]

I don't know what is wrong with me today, it is the TOTM but for some reason it has knocked me sideways, the pains are so bad and I've even been sick.[msncry][msncry]
Needless to say not had anything to eat or drink other than water.

Sorry I didn't get round to posting yesterday. Good all day until about 5.00pm then lost it a bit. Just seemed to crave sugar/chocolate and was starving hungry. This seems to be my week time at the moment. So I will have to plan to have a satisfying snack at that time. We don't usually eat till later due to DH's work pattern.

Today was a similar pattern, despite having to fit in an emergency hospital visit for my daughter, who had had an accident at school and was in alot of pain with her ribs. They think she is ok - just badly bruised.[msnsad] Poor love was in a musical show tonight and was in alot of pain.[msnsad]

Still, at home tomorrow so hoping for a better day tomorrow[msnscared]

Lovely to read your post Pam, you are doing really well!

Sandra you sound as if you had a lovely trip.

Hope you feel better soon Paula[grouphug]

Keep it up Julie & Frances! Perhaps I will have to try the beetroot at 5 o clock!!

Ali, I hope your daughter is feeling a bit better, what a trooper carrying on with her musical!

My dodgy time is around 4pm - I could eat anything in my path some days!! It is a good idea to have something ready for that time. I generally have a few jelly beans if I am really craving sweet things or a hard boiled egg if I want something savory [msnsmile2]

Hope you have a good day tomorrow.

Sounds as though you had a wonderful time on the cruise Sandra. Dining with the Captain and seeing how the other half live must have been a fantastic experience as will the rest of this year with all the trips and gatherings.

Great weight loss Elaine - well done[clap][clap][clap]

Hope your daughter is getting better Ali. I love chocolate but since I started eating healthily, I have been buying raisings or cranberries coated in yogurt. They are very sweet and seem to take away the craving for chocolate. They can be bought in Holland & Barratt.

Thanks for the advice and help, Frances, Maria and Julie. I am floundering at the moment as I am not sure what is good and what is not. I have been watching the food diaries and have been trying to copy but am obviously not mixing it correctly.

I think what I am lacking is what is permissible on green and red days but on the SW website they just show sample menus without listing the actual food. Also I have no idea what HEs are or how syns work. The menus are much more than I normally eat but much of the actual food is not dissimilar. I am vegetarian so the green menu looks most appropriate but I can't eat eggs as I have an egg allergy. I eat loads of vegetables, both salads and cooked, plus pasta and rice. I very rarely have fried foods or potatos as most of my vegetables are steamed and I eat about 1 slice of multi-grain bread a day if that. For protein I have fish or cheese but not in great quantities.

I will take your advice Julie and try the SW menu for week from the link you gave to see how it goes, starting from tomorrow.

I definitely need to go to a SW meeting so that I can learn more on how to develop my own menus. Your suggestion to call Maria is a good one and I think I will do it before the meeting next Thursday so if my friend cannot make it again I will be more prepared to go it alone.
