Well the later part of my day did not go as well as I started off but I was still in control but just ate a bit too much[msnembarrased][msnembarrased]

Never mind onwards and upwards as they say and I planning on the best day possible which is difficult as DH does not want to get back on track until Monday as we are all off until then but I will do my very best to be in control[clap]

Feeling a bit nervous about my hospital appt tomorrow - don't know why[msnsad]

Hope the appointment goes well Julie -I am sure it will.
Getting into the countdown for my trip now Fiona is there at the same time so we are meeting up and we can keep an eye on each other [msnwink]

    Remember the saying girls
it's not what you eat between Christmas and new year that you watch but what you eat between new year and Christmas

so don't beat yourselves up over a few days of enjoyment with family and loved ones -think positive and get back into the swing of things .

Julie just popping in to say I am sure your appointment will go well, try not to worry. (I understand as I was awfully worried when I went in for all my tests recently and they kept me in but within 2 days I had my diagnosis and two days later I was operated on).

At least with your surgery around the corner your knee will hopefully improve.

Hi Guys, its great to read all your storys of weight loss at SW.I have been going for 4 months and have just had my last weigh in today as we are off to Orlando on Monday and stayed the same this week.but have lost 1 stone and 1/2 a pound.I wanted to be a stone lighter for my holiday so i am very pleased with my self.My husband has said if i lose another stone i get £500 to spend on cloths so will keep him to that i just hope that i can keep it up while i am away.

I think the frying pan may be coming back - I haven't heard of fry light so will give it a go. I was really banishing the frying pan as my hubby is a fry-up freak. He enjoys cooking but lavishes his dishes with loads of butter, oil and cream, not good I think for healthy eating[V] Thanks for the tips Mizzy

Best of luck with your hospital appointment tomorrow Julie

well done trudy, you must be feeling great [clap][clap][clap]

Brenda, if the frying pan is a good non stick one you can ditch the oil and butter and get away easy with using fry light and cream can be substitted in dishes with either very low fat fromage frais or quark (skimmed milk soft cheese) you can find fry light near the oils in the supermarket

Julie, the fruit cake wasn't my best decision but i was at the mil's and you know what a dragon she is, takes offence if the cake is refused so it's easier to say yes and then sneak most of it onto rogers plate whils't she's not looking, being very true to form whilst eating the cake she told me i'm getting fatter and must do something about it [msnmad]
