we are talking only small changes here Julieanne, personally i'm not sure you eat enough of the right foods and then you slip in the christmas cake because you are still hungry, does that sound right?

when you look at the plan booklet you need to choose your day red or green and get as much food into the days menu from free foods as possible then add the 2 a + b choices and then add your syns

i think you could actually eat more so you don't feel hungry, still have your little treats and lose weight with just a little tweeking [msnwink]

Marie - most days I eat more than enough and I'm not hungry. I had the christmas cake last night simply because I wanted it - not because I was hungry [msnembarrased] although most week days I do manage to resist treats. Some days I think I deserve a medal for resisting all the goodies at work. Today for example everyone has had fish & chips while I had my tuna & pasta. A desk in our office has been full all week of chocolate, biscuits, hot cross buns and sweets but I have not touched a thing!!!

I do want to lose some weight and I am determined I am going to do it. I did it last year and I know I will do it again.
I've upped my excercise since Christmas but still getting grief with my toe, as that improves so hopefully will my gym sessions!!
I am prepared to stick at an eating plan long term but being realistic I know I will always stray a little from the straight and narrow path. Treats, I know I can build in, it's the nights out etc that really mess me up [msnembarrased] Like everyone else I just need to get the balance right.

With all the help and support from all the lovely ladies on here we will all reach our individual goals I'm sure [clap] [clap]
    Julie

I'm still 100% focused but I don't seem to be able to drag myself away from green days, I love jacket potatoes, rice and pasta and try adding quorn to them some way or other.

Yesterday I promised the girls we would go into Town today for the Chinese New Year Celebrations and then go for a meal. I will have my porridge as usual but don't don't whether to aim for a red or green day or which meals I'm better going for, any chinese food experts out there.

Paula if you have some sort of veggie omelette for lunch (free on both days) then you can go red or green as it suits when you get to the restaurant

if you like green days there's nothing saying you have to have red ones, for the majority i'm a green queen but when things slow i add red days to give my system a boost from the change, have a lovely meal out [msnsmile]
