Hi All - remember me [msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

Well I am back after a fab Christmas and a trip to Florida from which we returned on Sunday.
Went to class today and I have gained 5lbs [msnsad] However I am OK with this as I am pretty sure that at least 2lbs was the clothes I was wearing[msnwink] and the rest was a just having a wonderful time in the sun [msncool]

anyway I have been to the shops today and stocked up and will be back on track this week.
    Food today has been
    Jacket and beans with salad
    Muller light
tonight I am attempting a shepherds pie made with quorn ( wish me Luck)

Well Done Mizzy - hope to match it or better next week [msnwink]

Here's my food diary for the last 2 days:

    Monday
    porridge
    apple
packet wholegrain rice with roasted veg
    activia yoghurt
penne pasta with chicken with tomato and garlic sauce
banana and low calorie toffee mousse
    pear and orange
drinks - green tea and water
    gym session

    Tuesday
    porridge
    grapes & blueberries
    spicy mexican rice
    2 extra strong mints
    more blueberries
    apple
    salmon with sweet potato mash
    chocolate fridge cake
drinks – green tea and water

I don't know what I was thinking of making chocolate fridge cake while I am trying so hard to be good [confused] Now I have a whole tray of it in the fridge [msnscared]

    Hi Everyone,

Just catching up with the topic now we are settled in Florida! We arrived Friday and went up to New York for 2 nights but back now and ready to enjoy some Florida sunshine!

Julie pleased to hear you have had your op - hope it is not too painful. I like the idea of your new hoover - lol !!

Fiona - hope you are having fun in Florida too [msnsmile2] Our plants have suffered in the frost too and we have one plant that is and has always struggled, so tme for drastic action!!

Mizzy - I love shepherds pie - might try the recipe with meat substitut (as I'm a veggie).

It has been hard for me the last few days. We had to eat out in New York and it is hard to find veggie options in the restaurants! However I think I did quite well and had lots of omelets!! and a lovley vegetable platter in the Pigale restaurant, hot veggies on shredded salad with mash potatoes. Walked miles and not at a snails pace either (mores the pity according to my feet - lol!!) anyway back at villa so hoping to do better - no children with us this time so we don't need to fill the cupboards with snacks!!

Hope everyne has a good day!
    Frances
